I notice we have rudder control, so that’s great. However, I don’t want to hold my rudder the entire climb or cruise. Normally, there is a rudder trim. It’s even mappable in the controls. Doesn’t work on every plane. Too sensitive on the planes it does work on. Sometimes the hotkey mapping from my yoke works, sometimes the keyboard works, most of the time nothing works to control rudder trim.
I can tell the torque roll is artificial, too. In real life, if you kill the engine mid-air, you’re basically like a glider. No engine torque. Always in coordination. Doesn’t happen in this sim.
In FSX, there was an auto-rudder setting that I could’ve used to simulate me operating the rudder properly. That setting doesn’t exist in MSFS.
Are these per-plane settings?
