Is it possible to run MSFS from a fresh account?
I cannot get passed the checking screen in mixed reality after trying everything, however WMR works fine on all other user accounts.
My original installation is from DVD then upgraded to the deluxe edition.
Using this Zendesk checklist is a good way to start.
Thanks for this information however the issue I am having is WMR is stuck on the checking system screen.
if u bought it from steam u can just click on you ingame icon upper right and log off… then login with your new xbox account… I tried to change my gamer tag for $10 and totally hosed it. So I just created a new xbox account just for this sim. U cant do that if u bought the sim directly from Microsoft or running it with game pass on ur xbox account. Maybe someone else knows a better way.

Unfortunately MS support could not resolve the issue so I have created a new games account and now in the process of installing flight simulator on that account. Fortunately WMR works on that account.

Would be interested in knowing how this pans out for you. Last I checked it was absolutely impossible to transfer purchases to another account. Are you talking about your PC System account or your MS account?
Have you tried uninstalling WMR, rebooting your system after step 3 then reinstalling it?
I am talking about pc account, at present I have left MSFS to reinstall on another new user account (Windows), hopefully when I get home it should have finished.
