Runway centerline shift at CYOO since Beta

After one of the beta’s dropped, the center line for runway 5/23 has shifted from center. Works fine on the release version. It even caused a small shift on runway 12/30

I wonder if this was a shift of the aerial rather than a change in the overlying scenery. I saw this all the time during World Hub editing. It’s a risk of using aerials and one of the things that makes me reticent to edit because all the time it takes to realign to the aerial might be made moot when the aerial is next updated.

So it might be due to the beta but it might not. Would need to check with someone not in the beta - looking for either being offset and whether or not the aerial is the same between both versions.

What’s also weird is the runway polygon is offset, but the centerline stripes are not - I’ve never seen that - they’re usually locked to each other as part of the same object. Also looking at the 1000’ markers, which seem to have the wrong texture applied (weird little gap, makes it look like a lowercase “i.” It’s almost as if they’re being generated independently, which would be a new phenomenon to me.

Unfortunately there will be a lot of this with the new Bing imagery and existing add-on airports. I’ve created dozens of add-on airports and many now are incorrectly placed, as can be seen on the OP’s images. A LOT of work to fix.

This sim update should be cancelled.
Too much regressions compared to what we have now.

is the goal of a BETA, hunt regression and test with many configuration and addon … for now have zero release frametime, once the SU3 of MSFS 24 is released, Asobo will focus on the SU16 of MSFS 2020 for fix regression
