I’d open it up and check the internal movement of the axis before chucking it…might be fixable.
Also, I recently removed the springs from both axis and replaced the pitch springs with rubber bands just to retain a sense of the neutral position.
Not fighting the springs has has really given a new sense of control and comfort to the yoke. It’s very smooth and much more precise now.
I had been considering replacing it…but now I see no reason to.
