i dont even think you can still buy these from their website, it says coming soon
Holey ā ā ā ā dudeā¦ Awesome small (sic) setup, exactly as I am intending, but I only have the radio, autopilot and switch panels.
Now I just have to buy some more of those panelsā¦
Wait what? I thought I saw a video/tutorial on setting up non-supported peripheral devices on youtube, in case that helps. Video title is āTutorial #2 - Peripheral Control Setup - Microsoft Flight Simulatorā (I canāt paste the link here)
Yep, seen Squirrelās video. Heās good btw.
Thatās all well and good if the Sim detects the peripheral. With these panels it doesnāt even acknowledge they exist. It just doesnāt see them so canāt map anything to them.
I was using the Lorby app in the beta and worked well but is causing terrible stutters inthe release version
Indeed. It looks like something has changed in the release version of MSFS, and it is affecting all SimConnect based applications. Unfortunately āweā (3PDs) didnāt have access to that version in the Beta, so this comes as quite a surprise to us as well. Until this issue has been resolved, AxisAndOhs will not be released again. I am keeping the Demo version up, hoping to gather more intel, but the problem seems to be pretty clear cut by now. Most likely I will have to wait for a bugfixed version of MSFS (but I have yet to try it myself, I still donāt have access to the release version)

Lorby-SI has been creating payware sim addons and professional training solutions since 2015. AxisAndOhs was free for fellow Alpha/Beta testers, but that is as far as it goes, sorry.

Oliver, are you planning on making a release of your software for the panels once you have figured out what needs to change to get yours working. The sad word from Logitech is they dont give a fu#k about MSFS2020 and their panel support!
sorry, canāt talk about the alpha as we still bound by the NDA
Who is essentially responsible for these Panels working in MSFS2020 and whoever is, is the likely-hood of them creating the necessary software/drivers to get these working
I havenāt decided yet. The problem currently is a global one, it affects all SimConnect based apps, not only AxisAndOhs. As soon as a SimCOnnect client connects to the sim, you get massive stutters.
I will have to wait for a patch, then see what transpires. It is also possible that the whole principle can no longer work in MSFS - then the app is dead. We will see.

I did. The issue is caused by āloopingā SimConnect data requests that query information from the simulator. If you do this too often with the release version of MSFS (=every visual frame or faster), then the sim is unable to process the requests in time and it gets stuck. That used to work in the Alpha/Beta.
Anyway, I have implemented a work-around and I have updated the Demo version of AxisAndOhs. It is fully functional, but it will shut down after 20 minutes (yes, you can restart it immediately ).

Thanks for your reply Oliver. I hope there can be something more permanent I spent $450 AUD on two panels for FS2020, I really hope this will happen. I am somewhat bemused that Logitech hadnāt organized a patch for day one I mean these are premium Sim Peripherals and I am sure many people like I bough these for the very same reason and for this sim, not sure where their heads are at!

Please get answers from Logitech on when they are going to have drivers etc for MSFS2020
Please post your results back here and at the Logitech forum and keep these forums threads going so we get enough people and traction to gently force Logitech to do something about this as its not acceptable for the biggest Sim release and no native drivers available.
PLEASE FOLKS KEEP THESE THREADS GOING AND POST BACK ANY WORD ETC ON YOUR FINDINGS PLEASE
thanks you all for your support!
Done - I hope they notice!
same here, did you fix it?
I also purchased the radio panel specifically for FS2020, drivers would have been thoughtful.
I am in there too
Like all of you. I have bought a couple panels. Obviously they will not work.
I bought these specifically for MSFS 2020. So, right now Iām about Ā£144.00 out of my hard earned, and then Ā£110.00 for the premium. Like an ā¦ejit I also bought the Orbx London thingamyā¦Itās actually stunning in placesā¦Needs work though.
Anyways, devs are really noticeable by their absenceā¦Nowt unusual there thenā¦
Basically and I donāt want to come over as a āWhereās my stuffā entitled ā ā ā hat. (Too late?)
Covid has affected all our incomes. (mostly) We all have spent out a lot of Money on this sim but still not even a snifter of a polite āwe,re working on it, be ready in Septemberā.
Iām gonna have to return my panels, I hate doing that but I only have days and then my RMA window will be firmly shut.!
Thanks ASBO<<< oh yeaā¦ Can you at least chime in here?
I am writing to Darell P Bracken the CEO of logitech at pdarell@logitech.com
this is what I wrote
As you might be aware Microsoft launched their new Flight Simulator. Many people who have bought this product have also bought the Saitech Panels, only to find that the panels do not work.
I have the Radio Panel, Auto Pilot, Switch Panel and 3 Flight Instrument panels. In addition I have an X52 Joystick a Saitech Yoke and Saitech Pedals For me this represents a significant investment.
According to Alpha testers this problem was raised during testing some months ago but as yet no fix has been Implemented.
