Saitek Flight Panels

anyone else lose rudder controls after patch? using logitech plugin

Are you running The Logitech plugin og the SpadNext?

Nice ! Have you the 3D fille ?

Hello someone would be so kind to pass me the XML named exe.
Thank you.
I have removed it by accident and it is necessary for them to turn on with simulator startup.
It is on this route:
C: \ Users \ yourUser \ AppData \ Local \ Packages \ Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe \ LocalCache

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

Thank you very much.
I copy and paste to see if it works

Apparently something I have wrongly copied that the panels do not turn on by themselves.
Thank you anyway.

Finally, All of my Logitech panels are working post plugin install, FS and Windows update.
Now just waiting for RTX 30xx availability.

Thanks, it already works for me, I skipped a line before … But now, thank you very much.

Same here. I just received my flight panel new and elected not to use the logitech plugin as the new patch incorporates the plug in. Increments work fine right before the final FLY button. After that the knob increments are wack!

Do you have a Honeycomb yoke? If so, I’m surprised you haven’t come across this yet. If you have any of the switches on the yoke bound to anything, then all your increments are multiplied by 10, so HDG will increment by 10, ALT by 1000.

Remove ALL the bindings, and the problem goes away. This is just affecting Honeycomb owners as far as I am aware.

I just did, thanks for the reminder. I had to unbind everything including the Magneto switch. Did leave all the buttons on the yoke itself binded and it fixed my altitude selection as well. The number were moving all over the place randomly.

I hope they fix this on the next release. The yoke pretty much is now a glorified yoke and no pretty switches to play with.

BTW, is the AP broken on the Caravan since the Patch? Can’t engage it from the Logitech panel nor with a mouse click. Just curious if the panel affects this model since I only installed my panel post patch.

If you haven’t already, log that as a Zendesk ticket. The more people that do this, the greater chance of it floating to the surface, and being worked on.

Just logged a ticket with the panel and yoke issue in detail.

no it’s not only affecting Honeycomb users. I fly with the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog and have problems with the Logitech drivers multipliying by 10 my HDG and my ALT. With spad.next no problems when I de-install the Logitech drivers

That’s good to know. One working theory was if you had any button either 32 or higher.

I have the Warthog, I used to use it when I played Elite: Dangerous, and I have some images from then. The throttle has a button 32. I wonder if the problem goes away if you disconnect the throttle only? The stick itself has 19 buttons.

I could try that , but still doesn’t solve the problem. I’d rather go with the spad.next solution where almost everything works (even better joystick calibration and setup tools than in MSFS 2020)

True, SPAD is great, but one thing I could not get to work properly was the reversers. For the C208B Grand Caravan, I tried unbinding the throttle, and used SPAD instead.

This did allow me to designate the point that the reversers were engaged, but for some reason, with my TQ6+ at full reverse, it only went in to partial reverse in the sim. In SPAD 0 is full throttle, 4096 is full reverse. It has no problems here, and can see the full range, but this did not translate into the sim, sadly, only partial reverse.

I’m pretty sure I revisited that after Patch #2 was released, but I will take another look anyway.

Just downloaded and installed this (new) FS plugin driver from the Logitech site: https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/simulation/MSFS_Plugin_x64_Software_8.0.281.0.exe.

My multipanel is FINALLY working directly from FS without any additional software.

FWIW, since the last patch you don’t need the plugin. In fact in my case if I run the plugin first and when MSFS2020 fires up at the point it supposed to communicate to the panel a dialog box pops up saying you can’t run the instance twice so to me the last patch incorporated the same plugin Logitech released.
