Saitek Flight Panels

Thanks for your reply, @Tr1cky. I do have the exe.xml file in the location you mentioned, and I see the plugin running in Task Manager. I’ll run MSFS again later tonight; I’m hopeful just restarting the simulator will fix things. If not, I’ll think about the power management trick, but I doubt this is important enough to me that I want to manually edit the registry.

Can confirm not addressed. I tested it by defaulting back my Honeycomb binds and incremental issue is still present. I had to unbind every switch not on the yoke to get the increments to work properly again.

Capn,
If hte trick in the video way up there Tr1cky is referring to is the USB power management issue, there is a simple executable that has been out for quite some time, I used it to get panels working in FSX. It’s safe, run it as admin, opens a little dos box and hit enter and it does it’s thing, tells you what to do. Simple and quick. Haven’t had a single problem with it, run it before firing the sim up. I had asked Tr1cky is that had been fixed or not, as he can’t confirm that might be why he mentioned it. Anyway, this does the same thing without all that registry entry, you just may have to run it before each session. Its seem I don’t need it anymore, but systems do vary. Hi could someone help please - I have Saitek Flight Panels (Multi, Switch, Radio) and I’m all up to date with the patches and latest versions etc. USB Power is OK and they all work on the test program and the switch and radio flash briefly whe I start up MSFS. I have gone through the forums and tried everything but the panels will not work in the Sim - any ideas??

Hi there,
the Switch Panel working total fine here. However I got still issues with the Multipanel. When I set up a flight straight from the runway the panels works perfect. If I do a cold and dark start then onle the trim and flaps are working.
Is this still an issue with a cold and dark start or did I missed something in this thread?
Thanks in advance

Yes, that will get addressed in the next plug-in update which should go live in the next 48 hours. This will get the Avionics Master switch on the Switch Panel working which will then turn the Radio and Multi Panels on when activated.

That sounds pretty good  Fingers crossed that it will work :+1:t2:

My multi panel was working perfectly until this last patch when they specifically said that the “improved” it.

Now turning the knob has no accuracy at all, it can go up 10 or 1000 totally random.

Really makes you wonder about competence when they say they improved it, they actually made it worse.

Hello, this is also happening with other peripherals beside the honeycomb, in my case with the warthog throttle, will this update be to all peripherals or only the honeycomb? thanks

At the moment we’re waiting for feedback from Asobo on this but we don’t believe this is an issue with our plug-in. Our plug-in is just reading the information it gets from SimConnect and sending commands to it - we don’t apply any multiplication to it and the fact that it only happens with certain controllers does kind of bear that out.

If we hear anything from Asobo on this then I’ll let you know.

This is related to FIMS ICM - send an email to Tech Support dvtx@telus.net with the full ICMlog attached for follow-up

Hi all,

The download page hasn’t been updated yet but here’s the link to the updated plug-in file itself.

Here’s the notes for the update:

This update fixes the issue with the Avionics Master Switch on the Flight Switch Panel not working.

Please note: for cold & dark starts with aircraft not equipped with an Avionics Master Switch you will still need to turn the Avionics Switch from the Flight Switch Panel on in order for the Radio and Multi Panel to operate.
If you do not own a Flight Switch Panel then you will need to assign a button on your controller or a key on your keyboard to the Avionics 1 ON function in the controls section of Flight Simulator in order to turn the Radio and Multi Panel on when performing a cold & dark start.

Hi

My English is not good. Here is my Problem

I have the Logitech Saitek Multi Panel and it works with the Logitech Plugin MSFS_Plugin_x64_Software_8.0.285.0

Today I install an Honeycomb Alpha Yoke. With this Yoke on USB my Saitek Multi Panel Knob makes random steps between 100-1000. And the HDG in 10degrees steps. The Panel ist useless in this case.

When I disconect the Honeycomb Yoke, then the Saitek Multi Panel works correctly.

Hope Someone can help me please

same problem here.

if it was working perfectly, why patch it?

Hi there,

If you read further up the thread you’ll see the discussion regarding the increments issue. It does not appear to be due to our plug-in and has been happening since launch with the Honeycomb Yoke (and the Thrustmaster Warthog throttle). Please report it via Zendesk so it adds to the number of people reporting the issue.

This new version of the plug-in fixes the Avionics Master switch on the Switch Panel, as stated.

The new plug-in works good but transponder is blank ?
