Title says it all: I’m trying to map the wheel on the front of the x-52 pro throttle to elevator trim.
But on the diagram in FS this doesn’t have button numbers and when I try to map it by moving the wheel it isn’t detected.
Any help appreciated.

If I am correct, the wheel is Joystick Button 34 for moving UP, and Joystick Button 33 for moving Down. FS does in fact detect the wheel. And the X52 ROCKS when it works! Mine is somewhat finnicky.

Thanks for that - I tried it and buttons 33/34 turned out to be the Start/Stop and Reset buttons on the X-52 Multi Function display.
Don’t have time now but I’ll try all the other button numbers that aren’t shown on the FS layout graphic for the stick/throttle and see what I can find. I’ll work towards building my own secret decoder ring for this.

I use a Virpil joystick with a trim wheel.
I found that the trim wheel just does not move the trim fast enough on some planes where the default is set a lot off centre. So I bound two buttons to this one for the ability to keep it depressed for long travel movement. The trim wheel, which is 28 and 29 on mine, for small adjustments.
