I’ve been having this weird issue after updating to world update 3. The yoke and throttle just stops working mid flight. It remains shown as connected when I check the controls section but none of the buttons or axis work.
The yoke is the saitek throttle and yoke system. I’ve tested with P3D and it functions just fine
This is a known issue, so I doubt it has anything to do with the update. Unless, of course, they tried to fix it and broke something else.
Since release, I have experienced it three times on two different USB controllers, so it seems to happen rarely enough that it could be a coincidence that you get it now.
I’m guessing they tried to fix it and messed something up. I wasn’t having this issue before the update
I think I’ve resolved this issue by changing the USB ports to 3.0 instead of 2.0. It’s been working fine for a couple of days ni so hopefully its resolved
Yeah, I’ve also come to the conclusion that my problem with the Alpha yoke disconnecting at random has nothing to do with MSFS. When it happens, it’s also dead in the Windows calibration window until I re-plug it. This weekend it died three times.
My hope is that the issue is related to the cable, in which case I should be able to fix it with a better one.
The issue is actually with AMD. The 5000 series USB ports are dropping power for some users
Same here. Even if I change the USB port I never get completly rid of the issue.
However I deleted the Reverse thrust from the Throttle quadrant so at least my throttle is no longer afected.
