Samsung Laptop Specs

Hi Flightsim fam,

I am here requesting help from anyone running msfs on a Samsung Laptop. I could use some help adjusting the settings on my cpu to get msfs to perform right again.

A little backstory: My laptop is pretty minimum on the requirements, but after months of research and trying different settings i finally got rid of CTD’s and was finally making flights from gate to gate with no issue. Then around Nov/Dec there was an update sent out and after I downloaded it, the game has been unplayable (even with landing activities).

I am not tech savy, so I would not know how to change things on my own based off gaming experience. That being said, if anyone is running on a Samsung laptop could you please point me in the direction of sources that have good settings that will allow the game to run smoothly. Thanks in advance!

I’m sure there are several models and configs of Samsung laptops so this isn’t at all specific but heat is generally an issue with all laptops

  1. in MSFS options choose a lower than native resolution, reduce terrain LOD and traffic settings.
  2. set low power mode in the MSFS options menu under ‘Experimental’
