ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
- Guy on the hoist does not trigger next step when lowered to life raft for rescue. I literally spent 20+ minuets with him danging out as I tried placing him in SO many different locations and distances (near, little bit away and even inside the raft) but, he will not do anything. I hover very still, the mission step is green and I have tried high to very low heights.
[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
- The certificate flight worked okay, first career mission was a little bit tedious as he seemed to need a specific placement but, my 3rd flight (free career mode selection) was completely bugged
REPRODUCTION STEPS
- When doing SAR Hoist Missions in career mode:
- I reach search zone
- Find the survivor
- Hover above (mission step highlighted green)
- Use radio prompt to lower the guy with the hoist
- Place him near, around, in the life raft and wait
- The next step does not happen and I can not progress with the rescue/mission

• Also, there is no feedback provided from the missions to assess wether the drop location is close enough

A real Hoist the swimmer gets to the victim by himself. They should add a radius that you drop the hoist in. Dropping him in the circle should trigger him to swim to victim. It’s ridiculous how it’s played now.

YES!! did not happen before but now it is consistant with water recovery missions. I find that the times there are issues the survivor is not visible on the raft. Might be the survivor is not loading in?

Same here. Not to mention the IGE hover which requires superhuman skills to keep the heli fixed over the target. The aircraft is climbing/descrnding continuously without touching the power…Maybe I’m missing something, a few extra training hours perhaps.
