Is the scenery in MSFS 2020 satellite imagery by chance. The are land marks and such just don’t seem accurate. And there are way too many generic pine trees. Just wondering.

Hey there BillV9136, to answer your question essentially it comes down into a mix of satellite imagery, Bing, photogeometry and hand crafted items as well as the use of BlacksharkAI in order to create this amazing replica of our world with this stated the data isn’t 100% perfect or completely up to date but improvements are underway so don’t worry.
You would think using only satellite imagery would be the best way. Not sure though.
