The “fix” would be to extend outwards the LOD, further into the distance. Which is kind of the job of the LOD sliders.
What they are effectively saying is “PG below me looks great, but I want it to look great further away.”
Well, you can have that, at the cost of performance. That might involve going beyond LOD400, therefore hitting the file directly, and would be an interesting test.
