You can confirm whether this is an addon conflict or not by starting the sim in Safe Mode.
To do so, with the sim running, use Window’s Task Manager to shut it down.
Start the sim again, it will prompt you whether you would like to start in Normal or Safe mode.
Safe mode disables all addons, both those in Community Folder or from the Marketplace.
If the issue is gone, it is a problem with an addon somewhere.
