Scenic water landing on Nimpkish Lake near Alert Bay on the northern east side of Vancouver Island, Canada in VR. The local area is heavily moderated by the proximity to the Pacific Ocean and being located in the pathway of low-pressure systems from said ocean, heavy annual rainfall ensues. Winter is the wettest season, but snowfall is rare due to the average lows above freezing.

High settings
Nice landing! When I land on smooth water like this in the Icon, I tend to get a lot of bucking as I slow down. Not sure what I am doing to cause it.

Thanks! Sometimes it does buck too - I find killing the engine right above the water with flaps up makes it easier to get that smooth touch down. Later today the full flight will be on my channel:
