Description of the issue: This started a few days ago. I have my front view stretch across 3 42" lcd screens using a Gigabyte 3090 TI graphics card. When I load a flight in MSFS2020, every couple of minutes the screens go black for a few seconds, then the view reverts to the center screen. I pull it down and stretch it out again. Then the same thing happens a couple of minutes later. It happens over and over during a flight. I tried updating my Nvidia driver but it didn’t help. I suspect it is caused by an MSFS update but I’m not sure. I’ve been running MSFS2020 for a couple of years with this setup.

I discovered the problem sort of by accident. I was going to re-seat my graphics card and I discovered that the cpu cooler wasn’t plugged in to the pump on the heat sink. I plugged it in and no more black outs.
I spoke too soon. The blackouts have returned, now worse than ever. They only happen when MSFS2020 is running. Even before I start a flight, when I’m trying to load a flight and click on the gate I want the flight to start at it blacks out every three or four seconds. Just trying to exit MSFS is frustrating because by the time I find my mouse on the screen it blacks out before I can click on Main Menu. I’ve been using MSFS2020 for a couple of years with no problem. This just started a couple of weeks ago. I tried updating my Nvidia graphics driver again but it didn’t help. The only hardware change I made a couple of weeks ago was to upgrade from 32 to 64gb memory.
System Specs:
Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro Wifi motherboard
i9-9900K cpu 3.60ghz
Gigabyte 3090 TI 24gb graphics card
64gb Corsair memory
(3) Vizio 42" TVs
I removed the Corsair Vengeance 64gb (2 x 32gb) and returned the 32gb (2 x 16gb) modules and no more screens blacking out. I sent a support ticket to Gigabyte to find out why the 64gb modules aren’t working but I haven’t heard back yet. The specs say this board supports up to 64gb.
I discovered what was causing this issue. This computer accepts up to 64gb of memory but for 64gb I have to fill all four slots with 16gb modules. I was using two 32gb which won’t work.
