Sim loads fine, but when I come to fly any aircraft, any airport the loading flight gets to 3/4 across progress bar and freezes.
I have even tried different activates, discovery flights, training flights. same happens.
I have done 2 clean installs and have tried in dev mode on and off.
I also tried running as administrator still same problem
Everything was fine until the most recent update on Thursday 06/01/2022.
My community folder is clean.
I even formatted the drive I re installed to.
Just trying another clean install to different drive.

HI, i have exactly the same problem since the update…Dosnt matter the plane/activity/airport/weather/multiplayer status… It keeps on crashing at aroung 2/3 of the loading screen… I performed 2 clean installs, on different drives, revoved all my community folder, followed every zendesk checklist, disabled cache. and it’s STILL not working…I’m honestly running out of ideas and patience.

There are quite a few posts here with exactly those issues.
For what it’s worth, I can assure you that Asobo does monitor these forums, and even though they don’t respond here, with this number of complaints on the issue, I would suspect they are quite aware of it.
That given, I would suspect they are working towards a solution.
Bear in mind, I have no inside information.

Thanks for the post , I had already followed the checklist posted and still same issue, I started another clean install and formatted the drive before starting, currently up to 61% install. Fingers crossed.
But also losing patience.

Yeah, I sure hope they are working on a fix.
I always try to refrain on venting on forums when a piece of software doesn’t work as i’m aware than most of problems originate from what’s between the chair and the keyboard…
But after trying for so long and following the frankly nevereneding troubleshooting checklists and with the double clean install of the whole 130Gb twice, my patience has ran thin ^^

really I’m surprised what people do in case of problems. Cache delete, Community folder manipulations and other things. really, I have lower performance rig and from day 1 I didn’t set one of that ‘solutions’ simply nothing, also graphic driver I have from 2018. All is working to me great. I’m sad about that problems but maybe what I think is, many users have primary problem with Accounts, no correct settings, changed emails, logins/User names and many other things. HW problems especially that graphic driver is very common problem and also heat of CPU and graphic card. I see this from many Topics here, also after Win OS updates. I try every time bypass that as much as possible.
Same problem here. I tried everything, complete installation of windows and MSFS, nothing helps. There is just one solution: newest video card driver. In my case the newest Nvidea.
I run an I7 3770 with 16gb ram, with an Nvidia GTX1070.
I have very few issues.

you can read my rig spec on my profile, hope is available. Really I want help but if I see that posts it’s impossible to do. As I said after some weeks of day 1, thousands and thousands different HWs with different handlings of their systems…
Maybe Topic author can say if this problem is only now as fresh install or after some changes/updates.

I also tried reversing the Nvidia drivers, no luck…
While better specs exists, mine never was a problem to play the game on 1080p before. So i can confidently rule it out

Hi thanks for your input, my rig has an i9-10900K, 32gb ram, RTX3070, never had many issues before and everything was running smooth until the update. I have done 2 clean installs no mods or 3rd party add on. Just Asobo finished download now so will update with result. All game files on separate SSD.
All my drivers are up to date. The only thing I have not done is reverse my Nvidia driver which is currently version 492.29

You may want to actually upgrade that driver.
The latest is 497.29

Hi Folks, I am back in the air, so happy. After checking discussions today found one reply from FruitierDuke10. Well my problem ended up been the map replacement mod modified the host file and i needed to remove the hostnames as mentioned. It should do it automatically when closed. But my son was also using the sim - so I can blame him for not closing it correctly. When I found the fault I then had a problem trying to safe the edited file. In the end had to save the file to desktop. Delete the original file and then replaced it with the new saved (Correct file) . If you had this mod down loaded the this could be your problem. This mod will change your hosts file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) to place these entries inside:
127.0.0.1 kh.ssl.ak.tiles.virtualearth.net
127.0.0.1 khstorelive.azureedge.net
You need to remove these 2 lines - Hope you all get back into the air soon - Although good I will not be using this mod for now.
