Sea shimmering worse after update

The sea wasn’t broken so why try to fix it, the shimmering is worse from the lighting, if it’s not broke don’t fix it, sea foam yes maybe wave height yes but not sea lighting and reflections

The funny thing is, users had reported that the sea was broken by Patch #2.

Patch #3 has improved things, and the effects from wind, with white caps on waves, looks really good.

I agree the white caps look awesome, but they’re is a horrible reflection shimmering when might hours the water and if you move your head with track ir or mouse it follows you, I thought the sea looked fine as it was, now it’s all too uniform unless the wind is high then off course it looks amazing

Where in the patch notes does it say that water textures were changed?

I hope they will return the water to the way it was at release. They have tried to “fix” something that wasn’t broken.

I’m just hoping for reflections to be scaled back to where they were. The wave heights and foam are awesome.
