Unfortunately MSFS hasn’t been unlocked in the US yet but was hoping to have some fun in the Icon at some sea plane bases. Anyone know if these are modelled or if you are able to spawn at them. I don’t want to get my hopes up before its unlocked.

I do not think so as of yet… there has been talk of this forthcoming.
Yeah, before today, wheels and water did not mix, so you couldn’t taxi from 1 to the other. Thus, no actual seaplane bases. So you had to take off from dry ground, splash and go in the water, then return fly back to dry ground.
I hope this has been changed or will be soon.

I was going to say that there aren’t any float plane bases, but the post above means there is at least one. Iconic ones like the Rose Bay one or the ones around Vancouver are absent at this stage

This package adds to MSFS the 489 Seplane bases from FSE (FSEconomy), I have tested a couple and I can spawn the plane in the water.
It has been done automatically from coordinates, so don’t expect too much, but until MS adds them, it can be a fix
