Seaplane line "Blaue Linie" (Altona-Magdeburg-Dresden) 1925-1926

coming in casually with a skateboard over his shoulder Hello fellow seaplane pilots!

I have created the seaplane ports Altona, Magdeburg-Rotehornpark and Dresden-Johannstadt which were operated from 1925-1926 with the Junkers F13 on a connection that was called “Blaue Linie” (blue line) and went along the river Elbe. All three seaplane ports possess a water runway and 2 to 3 parking spots for you to start cold & dark. Maybe a little pushback help is needed for shunting of larger seaplanes.

There is aside from two standard buildings in Dresden no further scenery for lack of native seaplane facilities and for sake of compatibility. My intention is to provide seaplane bases in Europe for all the seaplane possibilities we are about to get. And of course to give a little history to early aviation enthusiasts and maybe spark some ideas for other makers of ■■■■■■ barren (but at least usable) scenery like me.

The addon is hosted on a certain and currently dreaded website and I do not know if I am supposed to write the whole name here or not. Therefor I leave the community of flightsim to connect the dots.

Disclaimer: In this addon I do not strife for absolute accuracy but rather to bring some usable water airports to Europe so the seaplane crowd gets some familiar places to start from.

Hi @No4124485

Feel free to post the link or name of your file at flightsim.to
While some developers my choose not to use it, its absolutely fine to tell us all of your creation, without fear. I don’t usually fly seaplanes myself, but I hope it goes well for you and that others get to enjoy it too.

Thank you, so my username on flightsim.to is No4124485 and I have a few other seaplane bases in the Pacific but I do not mention them because for some reasons I have put way more effort and scenery assets into them which contradicts my statement above and marks me as a blatant liar.

Those other seaplane bases are:
Yap
Ternate
Midway Island
Wake Island
Johnston Island
Saipan (which I have modelled after an archeologist/historian research paper that went after the history of this seaplane base, because sources on the US Navy seaplane facilities from that time are rare if still existent at all so the buoys are at least supposed to be at their right positions)
