Beautiful! Just in time for spring, too!
Very close to purchasing.
OK that’s great, I just noticed it didn’t exist on your website even though you have a link for FS2020 products.
I never paid much attention to it before now, but wow does it look like MSFS adds way too many trees to the Wenatchee valley. Just look at the pine trees in town beyond your wonderful new cherry orchards. Compare this to the following from Google Earth. I wonder if anything can be done about this, without affecting the pine tree density in the nearby Cascade mountains to the West.
I’ve noticed some of the drier transition biomes have far too many trees (without intervention by Bijan’s mod). A similar issue presents itself around Agua Dulce Airpark (L70) in southern CA - surrounded by way too many trees and they are also way too tall for the scrub, shrub-steppe, and chaparral that’s supposed to be there.
I just updated my copy via simMarket App. I deleted my old copy from community and installed the update. Did I do that right or should I have installed it on top of my original copy?
I always delete the older version then download the new version from the simMarket app. Is it necessary to delete the older version? I’m not sure.
Yes, they are suppose to be scrubs but not according to the biome map Asobo is using. https://ecoregions.appspot.com/
There are more updated accurate maps that I wish they would use instead.
According to the map they use, it’s mostly pine forest, the same forest in Angeles National Forest.
Changing the trees to scrubs for Agua Dulce Airpark would also affect Angeles National Forest, making it not accurate. Manual editing with the SDK seems like the way to go for making adjustments around the airpark without impacting the broader area. I will adjust the trees around Agua Dulce Airpark
Yes, it’s always best to remove the older version first.
Hey,
Is it correct that we can keep using the DL link emailed after purchase that states it will expire in 48 hrs to download the latest versions? Best to look on here for latest updates? Are we currently on v2.2?
Thanks for all you do!
That’s really awesome, thanks so much for all you do for the sim.
And totally understand the issue you described.
Hey,
The download link will not expire so you can use that in future.
You can also check on the “store” page on my website to see the current version and what will be in the next version on “updates” page.
Yes, currently on 2.2.
Website: bijanstudio.com
I will adjust the density over this area.
Hey Bijan, i am contemplating about buying your addon. Have Dubai been worked at? In default, dubai have a excessive amount of trees. Best regards!
Hi
Yes I did. The whole world is improved with this mod. But if you find any place that needs further improvements , let me know.
Is your mod able to fix ground texture as well? South Korea has pretty horrendous ground texture. It is chessboard like, you can see fields of grass with hard lines going across. I think I saw this in Caribbean Islands as well.
Hi
Do you have the exact coordinates for this?
Hi Bijan, I just updated to version 2.2 (SimMarket purchase). Do you have a running list of what was included with each update? I do see what you have planned for the next update on your website, but missed what was planned for 2.2…
I found an area in Oregon that might be worth visiting. Probably not the only one of its kind:
In the area around 4S2 (Ken Jernstedt Airfield) there are a ton of fruit orchards (pears etc.) that are covered in random trees instead.
Here are areas with “tiles”. First two airports are used with 737 missions, so I flew in and out of them often and every time it was a tile fest, so I know it’s not connection related issue:
- RKPK (Gimhae Intl)
- RKTN (Daegu Intl)
- RKJJ
- 34.83186877,127.66592741
I hope this is something that can be fixed (fingers crossed). If it is, let me know and I will try to locate more “tile areas”. I’ve seen them regularly in Caribbean as well.
