Yes, these PG mods and masks should be optional. Color correction for map tiles is already available if you know where to find it.
Many parts of the world are in much need of attention just to get their vegetation and tree coverage right at the moment. For me personally, masks and PG mods are of lower importance than general tree distribution and biome accuracy for every region.
It’s already optional.
I do understand your perspective, but I’d like to emphasize the extremely importance of photogrammetry removal in accurately representing seasons. PG removal is crucial for seasonal changes to take effect correctly.
Additionally, incorrect terrain colors can be a significant immersion killer. While color correction tools are available, which has it’s own flaws and is not compatible with MSFS 2024, a more comprehensive solution is needed.
That being said, I agree that general tree distribution and biome accuracy are essential for every region, which is being done on a daily basis.
I prefer photogrammetry to be removed, and from my experience and based on feedbacks and most people I know share the same preference.
It’s rare to find someone who prefers photogrammetry trees like this over realistic trees:
Completely agree. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again:
Thank you, Bijan, for your effort in removing PG trees. Is there a chance you update Madrid/Barcelona in Spain? And if possible, terrain mask in Spain
Totally agree Luis ![]()
Swamp waters of the American South! This update for Seasons Enhanced adds swamp and wetlands locations over 200 miles in South Florida and southern Louisiana, including areas south of New Orleans.
Available tomorrow.
Very nice work Bijan,
Fs2024 is made for bush pilots and, like me, those who make low-altitude discovery flights with a single-engine aircraft at low speed to enjoy all this richness.
I don’t know this region at all, but I see in your video some green ground textures that are a bit flashy compared to the rest (1m37). Is this normal? or are you thinking of adding a mask in these areas to stick as closely as possible to reality?
You get the feeling that you’re no longer flying, but rather walking or boating.
Olivier
Absolutely stunning! Well done. I didn’t see any crocodiles or alligators though ![]()
Thank you.
My drone sent them scurrying for cover… underwater. ![]()
Ah. I knew there was a reason. Just installed 2024, so I’ll be re-installing your mods shortly. If I ever figure out how to configure the sim ( a steep learning curve). Maybe land on a piece of dry ground and wait for them to come out?
Thanks for the photos Bijan, in that case in fs2024 it’s not flashy green enough ?
Yes some crocodile or caiman would be nice unless there are none in these areas?
Hi Bijan, bought your add-on today after reading you was doing some work on Stockholm Sweden. There are some problem though, trees are missing and there are still some “fantasy forest” present.
Is there any way of removing these enormous trees whitout removing Pg?
Thank you. I will go over it again and see if it is possible without removing the buildings.
Update: Fixed
Please let me what you want to me check in that area. Trees or terrain?
If you could improve the density of the forests by adding firs and trees it would be wonderful.
I know you have a lot of demand. Your work is incredible.
Thanks
There is already plenty of fir trees along other ones.
The reason you see it less dense it’s because it’s winter and most trees have lost their leaves. If you change the season to summer , it will be full and dense.
Are you seeing something different than this screenshot below?
Hye Bijan
Thank you for having improved my FS2020 experience a few years ago and, more recently, FS2024. ![]()
I live in France, between Dinard (Brittany) and Aix-les-Bains ( Savoie ).
After trying different seasons and altitudes, the reduction in the number of trees with your FS2024 add-on is now too significant with your addon.
In the mountains, there should be 30% to 40% more adult trees and fewer clumps of bushes. In cities, it’s good (maybe 10% to 15% more than what your add-on currently provides). In the plains, forests are a bit like in the mountains, needing 20% to 30% more adult trees.
I’m basing these observations on the routes I actually take in the Alps and in Brittany.
Now, more or fewer trees is subjective. Would there be a possibility, within your add-on, to choose a “proportion” of trees relative to FS2024? Or, failing that, a version with 20% fewer trees and another with 40% fewer trees?
Thank you for your work, and please keep enchanting us over and over again ![]()
Dear @bijanstudio !
Do you plan to increase the visibility of bushy, grassy, and flowery areas? I would like to see them from further away and at higher altitudes. Currently, grass and bushes only appear when flying close to the ground.
