Hello Bijan, you are doing a fantastic work. First time i bought one of your Products, “Seasons for MSFS 2024”, and i love it.
I am working on a Mod for Key West and i noticed that Key West has no Palm Trees. There are a lot of Mangrove Trees. Can you take a look please?
Regards from EDDV
Hi
I do have them but it’s a bug that appeared in previous version that prevented the sim from reading the biome files in some cities.
It will be visible in next update. Here they are:
Thank you for you very fast answer. Have a nice Weekend and always happy landings!
Oh wow, that was fast Bijan! I didn’t expect for you to make changes so quickly. The screenshots look great! As always, thanks very much.
1.7 released:
Hi Bijan, would you be able to remove a big patch of photogrammetry trees that look ugly around Renton airport please? Love the new update!
Hi
Thank you.
Sure. Added to the list.
Hi Bijan. I’ve just noticed that huge chunks of photogrammetry don’t load in LA with the latest update. Instead we get the autogen buildings. I removed 1.7 from the community folder and the photogrammetry loaded fine.
From my simmarket page about photogrammetry: (also in what is included.txt)
“My approach involves removing Photogrammetry from trees and small houses, as they often appear merged and distorted. I also remove spiky mountains and forests, while preserving main high-rise buildings and important structures. If you prefer not to have this modification, you can simply delete the corresponding file from the scenery folder”
As you can see from the image you posted, all trees look perfect and include real palm trees instead of stone pillars.
I will eventually remove all houses with photogrammetry trees, leaving only larger building.
Hello Bijan.
Thanks for your work. A “must have” for MSFS.
Would you take a look at the trees density in Corsica island ?
More density if it’s possible.
Thank you.
Ah thats good to know.
Thanks for pointing that out. I took a look, and it’s currently set up to prevent farms and suburb areas from feeling like a jungle. However, this means the mountains are a bit sparse. To fix this, I’ll use the SDK to create separate biomes for farms areas and mountains,
Ok, thank you Bijan.
Best regards.
Thanks for this wonderful mod. However, there is a problem in French forests. They are much too sparse.
An example near Besançon:

I can’t see your screenshot but I just visited the forest and it’s pretty dense:
Just took this screenshot:
Hi Bijan! Tried the new update just now and must say that I kind of miss the tall palm trees sticking out over the other tree tops in tropical areas!
I have the impression the whole Mediterranean coast could use its own Biome. From Portugal to Turkey the vegetation is quite similar (also not too dissimilar to California IIRC). And what I am missing in coastal areas is the low shrubs (macchia) you find everwhere IRL.
It’s similar in appearance (if not in plant species) to the windy of Northern France, Ireland and Britain.
In all those areas there are too many trees in MSFS2024 and too little shrubs. Also sometimes the plant density is too low.
Thanks Bijan for your work. It’s good to have you back, making the flora more lifelike!
Thanks for the new update Bijan, I was able to land my plane at Berry Head now the trees are gone!
Hey Bijan, love your work! Unfortunately, your mod removes almost all trees in NE North Carolina.
Just one example, this is the Great Dismal Swamp in Google Streetview:
