Anyone else getting the ‘4 SEASON PACK v7.5 - MSFS - Bijan_EarthFX_SeasonPack_8a - Missing Download Link!’ error?
I’m logged into the simMarket App and can see all the older files - I checked one which downloaded and installed, and could successfully uninstall it too, so I’m stumped.
Yes, me too, I think he is updating it with a bug fix.

I have the app installed. When I run it I am getting the “installation is completed”’ message but I do not see any new entries in the community folder.
Does that mean I am suffering from the community folder not detected issue?
A new update was sent to SimMarket and should be available any time. Notification from SimMarket will be sent. This update will come as a single file, eliminating the need for codes for now.
To install, simply copy and paste or drag a season folder, along with model asset folder into your Community Folder. Alternatively, you can use the Addon Linker.

I think you are downloading from season 7.5. Please go to the new season pack 8 which is a new product and download new one from there.

That way is the way to go, because disabling a computer protection to run an app which is detected to be not secure isn’t the way to go. (and if that executable doesn’t do what it is supposed to do)
i already had that with another add on and NEVER installed it, because the owner didn’t react.

No season updates for Xbox until MSFS2024 details are announced. New packages like volcanoes and waterfalls may still be released for xbox.

Thanks for the Seasons Bijan! XBox user here. I’ve had all four Seasons from Marketplace since release. IIRC an update was submitted to Microsoft in MARCH but it never made it to the Marketplace for unknown reasons and the developer didn’t hear anything from MS since. As an XBox user unable to get an update to a brilliant add-on and seeing the Marketplace flooding with useless shovelware I think Microsoft owes me and many others (including the developer) an explanation. If I pay for an add-on from which MS get their cut I expect to get the updates also.

There have been many product updates that “disappear” and never make it to xbox. Unfortunately the developer has to re submit these and go through the testing process again, which due to back logs can mean being lost again.
I know developers who have submitted products that have never materislised for xbox but have for pc marketplace even though they were totally xbox compliant.
Best practice is to see what the current Version number should be and what it currently is on xbox and subtract 0.0.1 from the xbox number as that is added by the MS ingestion and testing process.
