It has been enhanced in next version which includes Alaska, Canada and covered east of Europe.
It won’t washed out like that.

With sharpened filter in nvidia:

Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to that yet.

Thank you! How much sharpening do you recommend with the Nvidia filter?

That’s a personal preferences.

Of course, but I’m just asking as a general guide for other people reading. What do you personally use? Shapening + or regular sharpening, and at what intensity?

I’m personally really good with post processes effects, I’ve been using Reshade in the early SweetFX days and sharing many presets, but not everyone is!

I will post a screenshot of my settings later on. I use Geforce experience.

@Violins77, as you’ve asked, 1.2 is definitely much better. I’m very happy with this, though I did inititally dial up the contrast to ‘35’ in the nVidia filter but I’ve dropped it back down to 10 (though I wonder if it’s my monitor/ personal preference now that I’ve started to tweak things). Up until the previous set of driver updates some weeks ago, when I lost my filter settings, I was playing around with subtle tweaks in the filters, so I think there’s probably a small requirement for my personal tastes/monitor anyway.

Looks good! I really like it. If you can find a way to eliminate these lines and the squares that appear, it would be perfect.

Terrain Mask Version 1.3 released:

1- Removed reported line patterns from terrains and some are reduced in opacity.
2- Updated coverage map. USA, Alaska, Canada and east of Europe and part of Russia is now included.
3- Runways are not affected. Some may have slight brown tint in them but textures are as original textures. Most roads are not affected either.

Known issue: This will create brown lines in VFR map display. Hopefully there will be a fix for that in near future.

New coverage:

Agreed with this - my vote would be don’t completely remove the brown tint from roads and airports , a bit of brown is good!

Thanks for this add-on. I’m now flying in autumn, over the French mountains of Morvan, and it’s looking so much better with this pack!

It looks like you’ve been able to remove most of the horrible green cast in your Canada shot. That’s huge. Many of the Alaskan snow covered mountain ranges suffer from the same problem. So much so I just can’t look at them, so don’t fly there. Can’t wait to try the update.

I hope you’ll consider making it available for Xbox

I just flew Calgary to Banff, Canada and the terrain mask made an incredible difference. The lime greens are gone, replaced with lovely muted earthy colors and mixed with the fall trees it all looks amazing. I’m also impressed by Asobo’s continual updates of the bing imagery, also the road networks, the detail is amazing especially at 4K.

Thank you. Glad you like it.
Terrain mask is now covering about ~12,800,000 Square miles and will expand to most areas in the world.

Another question for you Bijan: are the 3d trees an option, or must they be installed for the seasons to work correctly?

these three pics look incredibly natural, the colours are perfect.

Thank you. Yes. it’s one of my favorite places I have done.
@CriticalClub72 ahhh the rules. I can’t answer that here.
