Updated Volcanoes on YouTube.
This is a lot more challenging to do that I thought but it’s progressing.

Wow, will the ash cloud be eventually dynamic? Looks great! This would be volcanic cumulus clouds no one has to complain about.
Thanks. I have a dynamic ash cloud but I can’t enlarge it too much without losing quality. The ash clouds are huge. Eventually it will be dynamic with a new set of cloud sprite.
You’re star, Bijan!
Thanks for all you do!
Wow. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement
Watching your YouTube channel … I can’t believe what you’re coming up with!
I’m using Seasons past 2 years+ … not ‘must have’, but ‘won’t fly without’. Your talents are amazing. Thank-you.
I appreciate your support. Thanks so much.
Asobo are committing a crime for each day wasted without hiring this man as their chief designer.
This volcano in Stromboli, Italy is available from simmarket as a single purchase for those who don’t have season pack but this will be included in season update 8.:
I agree, 100%!!! From the very beginning!
Someone mentioned a volcano eruption Iceland. Google search only shows it is currently active in Grindavík but I’m unsure which specific volcano is erupting. There are multiple craters in the area, so perhaps a local can provide more insight or clarification on which one is active. Thank you
Does this work on Xbox? If not, why/ will it come to console users?
There will be no further season updates for Xbox, despite multiple attempts to send updates.
However, all other content (volcanoes, waterfalls, etc.) will be available for Xbox.
For PC version on Simmarket, there will be one final season update, after which the content will be reorganized into separate packages.
After the release of MSFS2024, I will evaluate the feasibility of further enhancing and updating the Season Pack.
Do the volcanic ash advisories give granular enough lat/lon to make this work?
You could try the London VAAC
Here’s a site that consolidates them so you don’t have to go to each region’s site. I wonder if there’s an API from which you can pull enough data to automate this.
All about the recent Iceland eruptions, with maps and aerial photos:
Thank you. The second link helps a lot.
However there is no way to automate this with SDK, as far as I know.
Thank you. Yes that’s what I read too before posting but it doesn’t say which crater. There are several in one area which says it is active.
A lot of the advisories on the London page are recent exercises.
But under Reykjanes, you see an advisory from May that reads as follows (and foots with the info @GBTAW provided):
