I think we might have missed one of the basic questions the OP was asking and now I’m curious: Can a monitor be connected to motherboard’s video port at the same time as monitors are connected a separate video card?

at least i answered with “should be possible …” as an educated guess … but youre right. Someone, who can confirm that, because he/she actually did that would be helpful.

i heard people in an xplane forum suggestig that as a solution, when there are no more free ports available on the primary graphics card. So in theory that should be possible.
