Good Day gents
The sensitivity option in my opinion does not change sensitivity but rather the linearity of your controller. That’s why a lot of people in similar discussions say the yes lowering the sensitivity to around -75% helps, but to a certain point. I myself had it set to 90%+, but it just does not work properly. So we are fooling ourselves thinking its the sensitivity we are changing.
I don’t understand what the developers were thinking when they started to work on the controller settings. Numerous games have both linearity as well as sensitivity settings that can be altered. Good old FSX only has sensitivity to adjust (and null zone) and that works flawlessly out of the box. If I change the sensitivity up or down the controller is either more sensitive or less.
I’m using an older Logitech Force 3D pro and I’m sure that its not the controllers fault because of FSX. I can fly in FS2020 but its a mission. I have the same issue using my xbox controller in FS2020. In FSX and any other game its fine.
So basically i want to know how can we get the message across to the developers.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I was just about to do a post on this. Maybe a video.
You are 100% correct.
The lack of sensitivity options in this game is baffling and far outshines the rudder/trigger debacle imo. You can see this even if you press F2 and F3 for throttle control or A and B on your controller. Get into the Cessna in the training mission, hold down any of those buttons, or whatever you use for trim, and watch how the controls continue moving after you’ve released, but also look at the speed rate of change, its impossible to use buttons to control throttle or trim unless you want to tap them a hundred times to create some sort of linear movement. You can release the button at 50% throttle and it will continue to full, I kid you not.
They NEED to implement actual sensitivity options seen in driving games or sim games like ETS2 and ATS and FSX. I literally can not control FS2020 like I can FSX with an xbox controller and keyboard and to make it worse, all of the joysticks I had my eye on are sold out and on long back orders.

I have not even gone as far as the training missions…
For me this is the only issue with the game.
Lets hope they figure something out.

This is still a big problem using the Xbox controller. Aircraft pitch up nose vertically when you increase throttle and trim does not do much either other than change from one extreme to the other. I don’t think anything has been fixed, but sure will be called out when Xbox users get their hands on the sim.
