Dont worry, Microsoft is aware of the issue and they will probably fix it soon
I have not updated my drivers and have the same issue.
I wonder if this is all the result of the massive solar flare yesterday, my work internet has been having major issues too,
I thought it was my brand new Honeycomb alpha Yokers, i thought it was too powerful for the sim, but no. Phew 
ROU1821 from MDPP to CYYZ is now delayed

Can’t even get the sim started after windows 11 update and Nivida.
Same freeze near Paris (France) : freeze 2mn, work 30s, freeze 2mn.
Impossible to play MSFS.
No changes on PC, drivers ok,
I hope you modify your servers rapidely. It’s not a free game !
Same Issue here down in Chile, Nvidia drivers updated. Im with a friend from Uruguay and having the same problem. Its freeze every 30 seconds.
Same here constant freezes.
Hope it gets sorted soon, it is a bit weird that a server issue stops you from flying even with online functionality off, I’m actually glad I don’t have to spend hours troubleshooting, or doing a dreaded reinstall.

I really wish I came here before I started a complete uninstall/reinstall 
I booted in and tried to change a controller profile. Sim froze twice, used task manager to end program and restarted the sim. Took two restarts to get in and change profile. Game was a bit unresponsive but eventually got the profile changed and accessed the world map and started a flight. Everything seems to be ok now for me. East US server. Also I haven’t updated anything, all my updates are still pending. Using win 10.
Thank goodness I checked here first, I tried everything and was getting ready to reinstall!

i have 536.99 and sim working great on 8 Aug, today cant run it at all long load times freezing
uninstalled win updates on 9 aug ,still nothing
its been withing the last 4-5 hrs i hopped in the sim earlier to check something and all was normal then.
Me Too. I had the same before i update the nvidia. But after nvidia it is the same. Me be it was de windows update this morning…
