The xbox live server status page is reporting issues since about noon CST, but it claims to only apply to NBA 2K22. I’m having issues logging in as well though, so something must be bleeding over.

Not really. I can’t launch the game, it stays stuck on “press any key to start”.
Down for me too 
Just completely lost all my steam profile data and logbook after the press any button to start message.
I’m not even angry anymore…
Found out servers were down when I had the “fps loss” bug. Turned off online functionality in the hope of then being able to turn it back on as suggested by a user as it helped them get their fps back. When trying to turn online functionality back on, instant CTD. Clearly, this was linked to the Xbox issue as I’ve never had this type of CTD before. Oh well.
Was flying down valley from Whistler to Vancouver, BC when suddenly the whole world disappeared, replaced by what looked like Water Planet. No topography, just blue as far as I could see. Quit the sim, rebooted, and tried to restart the sim and I got the error message that X-box Live can’t sign me in. Just tried again, same problem. 
Seems to be problems with the whole Xbox sign-in system.
Yeap down for me too in Northeast US. getting 0x87dd0006 xbox live error message at the splash screen and then nothing. I get the idea of protecting your intellectual property but online validating at every logon is a bit of an overkill.

Hmm, I’m using the Steam version and cannot launch the game anymore. It says ‘Press a button to start’. Whenever I do press a button the screen resets and the intro video restarts playing with the same message. Infinite loop. Super annoying that this Xbox login issue is keeping me out of playing a game I bought on Steam

…and this is a major issue with gaming in general in today’s age, having to rely on separate accounts and servers just to play a game!

Ok thanks, was starting to panic as I saw a bug report on the forums here about this issue with only one solution: Full reinstall. Good thing I stumbled upon this topic first to see it has to do with Xbox live. 
I guess I’ll be swapping out the rudder pedals for racing pedals this evening and get into a car instead of a plane 
I wondered why my screenshots weren’t loading. 
One does not have to be entertained by MSFS alone.
