Hi guys
Seems I have scattered clouds as default. Can I change that to few clouds, or clear weather, so I don’t have to change for every flight?
Why not change it to real weather…
Sure, i was just giving an example. I want to set to something that i don’t have to see what its set to every time. Now i only have scattered clouds, is that the default?
Mine defaults to real weather.
I think it will save what ever the weather is when you quit and then that will be the weather when you start up.
My system doesn’t do that. It always is set on scattered clouds. I wish it would save what I was using on the last flight, live weather, or whatever. I hardly ever want to use scattered, that’s why i wish i could set to something else.
Set your default weather from the world map screen. Click on the weather at the top right, then select your weather. It should default to that for each subsequent flight.

I made a custom default weather. From the map page, I started with clear skies, and deleted the wind layer. Then saved it as a new preset. That’s how I enter each flight.
Then in the flight, I set to live or whatever I feel like or leave it at clear no wind. The live weather bug has been around for so long, this workaround has become habit. Not sure if its 100% fixed anyway.
You don’t need to do this any more. The live weather bug was finally solved in SU4. Oddly, they didn’t bother to mention such a major fix in the patch notes. But it was confirmed by a CM that the dev team did indeed find the problem and fixed it.
