This issue is driving me bonkers. The fact that the game culls assets I am quite capable of keeping in memory when they are right there outside the window is so bad. Believe it or not, I am still interested in the gate I’m parked at despite looking down at the FMS for 4 seconds.
Does anyone not have this issue? I guess it might be masked by low settings on fast systems, perhaps, but is there anyone that genuinely doens’t suffer from this? I am still hoping for a magic setting that makes it go away.
Your system might be capable of keeping the assets in VRAM. The systems of 95% of FS2024 users are not.
You’re in luck there, because the gate is still being displayed. It’s not as if the objects become invisible.
Reduce the complexity of the displayed scenery: fewer vehicles, fewer aircraft, less ground crew, and fewer, simpler buildings. Technically speaking: reduce the amount of data that needs to be transferred via the PCIe bus. At the same time, maximize the PCIe bus capacity available to the simulator. This means: enable REBAR and close background applications.
I wonder if the stuttering on the screens when the aircraft turns—even with a triple-monitor setup in SU6—is related to this issue? I don’t recall having this problem in SU5. MSFS2024 SU6 FSR3 FG / V-Sync On
