We’re guessing you mean the MarketPlace?
Check to make sure Internet Connectivity is ON.
Also check at the Main Menu that your XBox Gaming Account is logged in (upper right) and that you are connected to a server that is responding.
I am on steam and I am well connected

Try to logout of the Xbox account on the top right corner… Then log back in.
Are you connected to a server, and is it responding (needs to show some number followed by MS, which indicates your lag in milliseconds)?
If it says “Automatic” like in the picture below, you are not connected - it’s trying to connect.
Is Online Functionality = ON per the picture below?
