Hello, I am editing an airport in MSFS 2024 and making the new runways 13,000 ft. The airport is located in a cold-climate location and is also situated at sea level. I know things like hot weather can affect takeoff performance and that sometimes airports like Phoenix Sky Harbor have to close for takeoffs because it is too hot. However, I’m not sure how cold temperatures affect it. So should a 13,000 ft runway be enough for the 200LR to take off at MTOW in most conditions? I know the topic is complex, but I’m just looking for some general info as to whether it should be enough. I think in most cases I will be nowhere near max weight, as I am planning to simulate BBJ-type flights but with just a few people on board, but I want to push the range of the aircraft sometimes, so I would be taking off with max fuel.
