Almost every sim out there has paid maps as their business model. Why should MSFS be any different? SCS-American and Euro truck simulators use this model to effect, so does DCS and countless other gaming houses.
I will buy what I like in these world updates if they become payware. I would not be interested in the any offerings from the Middle East, India or any of the Asian nations for example but would spend up big on Aus/NZ, UK, North America and some parts of Europe.
While it’s free, I will take what comes and do the challenges, bush trips etc but after that, I don’t end up back at these places again (Eg. Japan).
