Why would anyone want to pay for Updates that are released with huge flaws each and every time and then no Hotfixes thereafter? That doesn’t make sense to me.
If you’re talking World Updates that are purely extensions of the game then that’s something else, but again they have to be of real quality without major flaws, which unfortunately they all too have suffered from up to this point.
So overall for me, No, no way would I consider Paying additional sums of money for Updates, especially in the current state they are released in.
