Not an expert but locking the frame rate down to a fps that provides a nice smooth effect will leave some headroom for your CPU/GPU to use as and when it’s needed. Just asking them to operate at full throttle all the time doesn’t seem to me to be the best use of resources.
Works fine for me, but I’m not a “fps chaser”.
