Should I pull the trigger on this NVME SSD?

depends on the speed of the SSD and the speed of the NVME.

NVME have the potential to go a lot faster due to their interface (PCI-E 3 or 4). The specific NVME drive (and your motherboard) need to able to utilize that though.
There’s slower NVME drives on the market as well, so it’s always worth to look up the specs.

In general, for games, it makes a bit of difference. Whether the saved time is worth the extra cash is up to you in the end :slight_smile:

For me the biggest bonus of an NVME drive is that it slots right into the motherboard, so it’s less cables running around (have a m-ITX build myself).
