Last year some Windows update would require a Bios update of my HP laptop first. From the old days, I was very reluctant to install Bios updates, the procedure was a pain… and Russian Roulette… but actually the HP support software has a special action for it, you can start the procedure in Windows, it is tested and it got finished in 6 min. After that… Windows update would install fine… and suddenly the touch pad worked better too. Sometimes nice things look dangerous.
