Just a heads up for those that are still doing the "start all over’ dance, it has come to my attention that there are a number of users that have encountered CTD issues as a result of corrupt or conflicting controller profiles. If you Uninstall MSFS and do a clean Windows reinstall, you are going to be right back in the same boat, just a few hours older.
MSFS saves your settings to your profile on the servers. Once you have completed all the re & re and restart the sim, MSFS redownloads all your old settings and profiles. If they were causing your problems before then they will continue to plague you now.
Before uninstalling the sim, be sure to to delete all controller profiles and return all other sim settings to default. I would suggest at that point you may want to restart the computer and the sim to test if that may have solved your problems before continuing with the time consuming completion of your task.
