Do i need to install this Poi’s 18 GB ?
At the very least they need to hotfix the issues to Asia that SU16 resulted in. BATC has issued a statement on this so I really hope Asobo has a Team on this. Team behind FSTL has said the same thing.
If not. Rollback to SU15 should be an option.
After that. Just leave it be as it is.
That would work too for me. SU15 worked just fine for me.
Still worried that this hasn’t even entered any kind of development phase since nothing was mentioned in the last dev update.
It such a shame because 2020 was in such a good place.
Let us hope that this isn’t a major thing and can be fixed.
I prefer having to force the shutdown than having it shut down on me after 6 hour flights ;).
Yes. I am thinking of doing that “home fix” with navdata but isn’t it pointless if they update the airac again?
Well, in the official bug thread some Moderator said it was being looked at but why then wasn’t it listed in the dev update? That is a mystery to me.
SU16 has MSFS 2020 running much more fluid for me, didn’t break any old adddons and gained a little performance boost as well.
SU16 was certainly a success imo.
Well I had not one, but 2 CTDs today after months of none.
Glad it was a success for someone! Would though stay clear of the su16 feedback thread, you (oh and some Xbox users) and in a vast minority!! ![]()
Yea its always been a hardware combo performance lottery with MSFS software. I’ve been very fortunate these past five years. Only a few CTDs during the early days and those were from faulty addons. Never had my hardware control assignments all of a sudden wiped either. *knocks on wood*
MS2020.
Custom Weather has NEVER worked correctly.
I have a list of ‘Fudge Factors’ to get wind correct for altitude.
Gusts HAS NEVER worked correctly. My settings aren’t saved and are North when file loaded.
Humidity is ALWAYS needed to be set to lowest possible. ?? Why Humidity?? It isn’t on METAR. Are we supposted to use it for Carburetor Mixture Setting. If so, it’s miniscule.
Other than being a complete disaster, it runs OK.
