After taking the trouble to get 21H1 installed (had to use the in-place ISO method) and finally getting the G2 firmware installed, I figured that I’d share my results. Everything just feels really smooth now. I haven’t changed any settings so far but my first flight with these settings was smooth to the point where I almost felt a little vertigo taking off in the Grravel and quickly veering to the left. I haven’t really had that sensation much in this game. The interesting part was that I really didn’t notice a FPS difference in Developer mode. It’s like I’m getting a smoother flight at the same FPS strangely. Maybe it’s a placebo, but so far I don’t want to know if it is because I’m enjoying it a lot. Just for a frame of reference, I’m on a 5900x, 3080, 32GB at 3600 MHz, and the game is installed by itself on a fast M.2 SSD.
