You should consider trying it on the latest Nvidia drivers with everything at default settings and HAGS left on. That’s the default config and that’s what the devs assume most end users of the G2 will be using since us endless tweakers are definitely in the minority. Most people will plug in the headset and go with it, they’ll never see the Nvidia control panel. You can be sure that the devs testing the G2 and making improvements to the drivers aren’t testing it with old Nvidia drivers. There seems to be a hangup on 457.30 being the “best” driver but it’s not the one the devs will be testing with and at some point, it’s going to pay to be current and up-to-date. For me, that point came as outlined in my original post.
If you give the entire scenario a go, post back with your results. Also let us know your processor specs.
