I’ll toss my hat into this ring. Upgraded to H1. I left hags and game mode off. I stuck with 457 and it seemed much worse initially but i feel the sim runs different day to day. With that said my goal was to get the sim working correctly with motion smoothing on. In the end I turned HAGS and Game Mode ON, enabled OXR preview, custom res 70, and motion smoothing always on. Headset at 60hz. TAA to 70. Finally i was able to get a smooth 20fps up to 60hz. clouds high, tlod & olod both 70.
This is over Paro in Bhutan where i am addicted to flying to a320 - I see an easy 15-20 fps drop between say the Cessna 152 and a320 so I do my tweaking using the aircraft i fly the most. I loaded up over Paris before going to bed as i know thats a killer for most people. It seemed to hold up okay. I could see the overlay flashing red occasionally but it that wasn’t on i don’t think i would have noticed.
I know this is far from helpful but I figured i’d put it out there. @LucioTheBird I may try the newest driver tonight and see what changes.
