ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
With multi monitor setups, the mouse is not restricted to the active screen when VR is active, causing mouse to not work in VR until the mouse is returned to the active monitor and the sim is clicked again.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time the sim is run with both monitors on.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start sim
  2. Activate VR
  3. Try to use the sim as normal, but if the mouse is moved past the limits of the first monitor to the second monitor you cannot click within VR again until the mouse is moved back into the limits of the primary monitor, and the screen is clicked to make the sim the active program again.

After starting the sim, turning off any seccondary monitors results in the desired behavior. The mouse cursor is limited to the boundries of the one active monitor.

Has anyone resolved this?

The issue was resolved with Sim Update 2, but returned with Sim update 3. My current workaround when I notice this happening is to pop out of VR, move the mouse cursor to the center of the screen, and then pop back into VR, that typically “fixes” the issue for me.

This really needs fixing in SU5 as it’s infuriating, I keep having to exit/enter VR to get the mouse to “stick” to the window.
Trouble is if I run fullscreen (which I don’t like to do) and the Sim crashes (which has happened on occasions in the past) then I have to hard shut down my PC which is far from ideal.

Basic small issues like this are what Betas are for and it should’ve been fixed in SU4.
