Sim does not start in "Pilot" view?

Since my recent issues with the VFR View/Save controls not working, I have found that the sim never starts up in “Pilot” view mode - this is what stopped the VFR save from actually saving/loading.

If I go to the in-cockpit camera menu and choose “Pilot” view, everything works perfectly.

Is there a way to make the sim start in pilot view, I’m not even sure what mode it starts in but it’s not Pilot.

Try General Options, Camera, Global Settings, Camera Selection.

Sadly, no - “Pilot” does not show anywhere on the default camera options page :frowning:

It should have the option “Cockpit”

Cockpit yes but not Pilot - to get the VFR View/save to work still needs to have “Pilot” selected in the on-screen menu, very odd.

A lot of third party planes do not have “Pilot View”
