Yes, I pre-emptively removed NG data, then patched, and sim launched normally.
I then shut down, re-installed NG data, and the sim crashed on launch.

Interesting. I can’t explain it then.
Fix this ASAP Msfs team. Navigraph is essential addon!
How can it be if it’s working on my end?
maybe there’s navigraph with some package and the two with aau3
complicated
After several CTD’s removed Navigraph AIRAC from their app. Loaded fine into the sim.
There isn’t. It uses this…

you can use navigraph without the airac pack installed so if you have example fenix and you delete the base airac addon your fenix airac stays ![]()
maybe you don’t have some package that WE have
Which is what I am thinking.
but it’s strange the same way
true, but this can never be a workaround. We lost hours to figure this out
microsoft fixes 3 things breaks few things and one big thing
Also these are the only folders in the MSFS official folder that were updated today. Wonder which one of them doesn’t play nice with Navigraph.

Just go to the Navigraph Hub and remove the first option with the AIRAC cycle for MSFS. Don’t panic guys.
I’m sure they will come up with a fix by tomorrow. Working fine for me after removing the first option from Navigraph Hub.
To be fair to the MS team here, it is working on some users’ PCs just fine.
We don’t know what percentage of Navigraph users are affected, but it’s not 100% as some posters here (and community manager Chewwy94 who is streaming it right now with Navigraph data) prove.
I do think there is great merit in the suggestion that all mandatory updates like this should have a short public beta period before release. That way this would definitely have been caught. If nothing else, it wouldn’t have blindsided the poor Navigraph team today.
we hope
navipgraph is a big addon (payed with subscription)
+1 for public betas could actually save some time for microsoft/asobo
Agreed, sim updates shouldn’t be the only updates with beta periods, especially with the amount of third-party developers making addons for the sim.
It’s almost certainly none of them - it’s the code in the FlightSimulator.exe itself.
