That sounds like a different problem to this one, as this was just preventing people getting to the main menu.
It might be a good idea to see if there are any clues as to what might be causing the issue. A usual route is to remove all addons, by moving the folders out of your community folder and restart MSFS. If it doesn’t CTD again, then you’ll have a fair idea that one of your addons was causing it. After that, it’ll just be a case of adding them back in, 1 at a time, and seeing if the crash recurs. Once you know which one is the culprit, then check it out for updates or check with the developer in question.

I think we deserve an explanation what happened and how an old bush trip plus/minus a double airport entry caused these problems. The community invested a lot of time into helping solve this problem and would probably appreciate some words in addition.

+1 for me. It’s a very interesting bug and hopefully they share some very brief information on it.
I removed the package “Bush trip: Scotland” and reinstalled Navigraph.
Now, all it’s working fine like before MSFS Update.

Yes, me too. Apart from the Navigraph issue, the fact that a bush trip could cause a CTD at startup is especially puzzling

Xbox user here–I’m happy to report that today’s small update has fixed the issue (at least for me; hopefully for everyone!) While I was able to get into the sim, it would freeze up when, in the A320, I pushed the flight plan “Request” button for my Simbrief plan (I was, however, able to imput a plan manually; that worked fine.)

I still have the CTD issue, even after beiing able to install the hotfix…
Any tips what to do?
Where in the startup process for the sim does it CTD?
Are you able to get into the world planner?
After starting the process, i do not get any screeen, it will CTD directly after starting

Todays update seems to have fixed the CTD issue for me …but still had to remove the Scottish Bush Trip fiolder as it was causing a major scenery glitch …no trees and very poor scenery …missing textures all over the place!.
As soon as i removed the Scottish Bush trip …all is good again!
Now, just to make sure, this was given to the test team, right?
And they did test it?
