Can’t zoom the map in the Phantom 300E V-2 upgrade… any ideals
Unfortunately I just purchased this aircraft yesterday and regret that purchase. Not only can’t I zoom in on the map but I can’t even get the flaps to work and the default configuration says it’s out of CG limits. You can’t even put 50% fuel and two pilots in this thing without it being out of limits.
Sadly this seems par for the course with this dev.
If we are lucky, in 2 years we will see an update that might fix those issues.
Is there a website where the issues with this aircraft can be reported to the developer?
Thank you for that information. I sent them an email about the issues I have found with the aircraft. Not being able to zoom in and out on the map display, the flaps not working and the aircraft CG limits and not being able to load passengers and fuel without the aircraft being out of CG. Hopefully I will get a reply and those issues will get fixed.

The G3000 looks and works much better, but then all the other things you’ve mentioned happed to me as well. The spoilers quit working too. I did try flying a flight with it, but about 45 minutes in, all electrical power in the plane goes off, and there’s no reason or way to get it back on. It’s an aircraft that should be available in MSFS, as popular as it is in real life. Now it’s not usable. Sad.

So far I haven’t received any reply from the developer regarding the issues I informed them of. Guess I won’t be holding my breath for them to get back to me. It’s such a shame that there are so many low quiality aircraft put out for MSFS. There should be some standards. I wasn’t expecting a study level aircraft for this one but at least the flaps, spoilers, and G1000 should work correctly.

I agree with you… the lack of planes between basic quality and “study level”, is driven the sim into a big opportunity area for Xplane and P3D… this last one if only can of photogrammetry…, in other words, if Asobo won´t offer photogrammetry this sim would be on the closet.
The developer says that V2 is a free update for V1 users. I bought V1 time ago and I find no way to update it to V2, when I try it ask me to pay for it. Anyone found the way to update to V2 for free? Thanks!
I purchased this Phenom 300E from Sim Federation. It is terrible. Why would Asobo/Microsoft allow such crap on their store? Following problems:
- Weight and Balance is whacked. It says max fuel is 14473 lbs! That’s bigger than the aircraft empty weight!!
- Flaps don’t work after initial operation ( as reported from JWharton above )
PS. Only two flap positions! - Can’t adjust map scale on MFD’s. ( as JWharton )
- Parking brake annunciator is on permanently until released and reapplied !
- Flight model is way off.
- Screen glare is annoying when the panels are on. REMOVE it when the screen is on.
- Lots of controls are INOP. Are they being lazy or they can’t be bothered?
How do people not demand their $$ back??

Agree… meanwhile, the beautiful Longitude and King Air, remain without open doors and a better passenger cabin. God, we need a large business jet!

A simple way to discourage these types of developers from not offering support would be to…Don’t respond to customers or offer update/s to reported issues? Then we will pull your product from the store.
My original Phenom 300 was great, this one, not so much…
I bought the EMB-300 via Market Place, and the central display does not have anything for the engines; also can’t change map settings and stuff like that. Already deleted it and re-installed it… any suggestions?
I’m so glad I came here before wasting my money…it is appalling that Phenom 300 is even offered on msfs 2020…it is junk!
I just purchased this yesterday Sept 16, 2024…I guess i was impulsive and didnt check the reviews/ratings. MSFS or Sim Federation needs to delete this aircraft, or fix it with a ■■■■ update, or refund us our money. Nothing works on this aircraft, flaps, things mentioned by JWharton, and the screens dont pop-out. Ground handling is so “loose” on the nose wheel. engines dont spool properly and so on.
Anything anybody can do to assist us? I emailed Sim Federation several times… of course…no response. (“Take the money and run”)
Is there a way to go back to the V1 version of 300? I too have issues, within 1 hour of flight time I lose all electricity!!!
