Sim Flight Or Flight Sim?

Hello everyone.

A quick question. I´m french (nobody is perfect ) and i was curious to know what is the correct phrase sentence to name what is our passion.

I know we use :
SimRacing
Simtruck

But we can see often FlimSim and SimFlight used…

What is the correct way to use it ?

Flightsim, because flight simulators have been designed already a few decades before the desktop computer age.

Just to muddy the waters, you can perform a sim flight in the flight sim.

Right now it is, but hopefully it will grow to a proper Flight Sim in the future.

:smiley: This is how i use.

  • SimRacing is a hobby in which you Race/Drive etc Racing/Driving Simulators.(iracing, assetto Corsa, rfactor, liveforspeed etc etc)
  • Never heard SimTruck :slight_smile: we generally use Truck Simming and we use Truck Simulator software/game.
  • Again, for flight i use Flight Simming. On the other hand we can discuss if MSFS is a Flight Simulator or not. SimFlight sounds like more “something trying to simulate flight”
